A Sustainable Vision - BOH values

            

BOH became what it is today as the result of me trying to be a more mindful about what I buy & use, where it comes from and what effect it will have on our beautiful planet. 

Ever since the beginning of BOH, sustainability and ethical practices have been core aspects of the business, and I take care at every stage of production to ensure it.

All fabrics used reflect these standards. The embroidery is made in Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, and is completely fair-trade, I use 2 organic black cottons, certified by GOTS, to make up the shell and linings of the bags. 

I source and re-purpose beautiful, soft black leather from various places; fabric recyclers, yacht upholsters and off-cuts from businesses. The labels and promotional material are all locally sourced. 

Each and every bag is carefully hand-crafted to order.
