Meet The Designer

Hello there, I'm Hope (on the left), the creator of Bags Of Hope. Nice to meet you!

I'm based in Barcelona, Spain though I grew up in the south of France, one summer a friend and I attended a workshop where we designed & created our own bags. It was the first time I'd used a sewing machine, but my imagination ran wild and I didn't want to stop! Soon after, browsing fabric shops became my favourite pass-time, with eyes widened like a kid in a sweet shop. Once the new hobby sunk in, my wonderful Grandma donated her sewing machine to me, and from then on I never looked back! I developed a strong set of skills whilst studying Fashion Design at University, and after spending time travelling through South East Asia, I discovered the most beautiful, vibrant, traditional embroideries.

I returned home full of inspiration to get creative. With a refreshing vision of more sustainable & mindful lifestyle I launched BOH - Bags of Hope - set out to present a thoughtful, sustainable new range of luxurious yet affordable bags.
